Project description
Lisitskiy is a 179 m² two-storey brick house surrounded by trees. The facade's warm red-brown colour is particularly distinctive beside the pale trunks of birch trees. A rectangular volume, a regular window rhythm and restrained cornices create calm architecture in which proportions and the natural texture of masonry play the leading roles.
Brick is used both in the wall structure and in the exterior finish; the facade is made of clay brick. This gives the house a cohesive material character: window reveals, corners and large wall sections read as parts of a single volume. A reinforced concrete slab forms the foundation, and cast-in-place reinforced concrete floors separate the internal levels.
The roof is covered with metal roof tiles. Its dark shade matches the window frames and complements the rich facade colour. Roof slopes and a projecting cornice give the clearly defined rectangular building a traditional finish. The restrained roof height keeps the silhouette cohesive among the vertical lines of the surrounding trees.
Four bedrooms and three bathrooms provide personal spaces for family members, while the terrace adds a place to relax on the plot. Two storeys provide enough separate rooms without an excessively long building. The house suits those who appreciate brick architecture with clear geometry and want to live close to nature while retaining familiar everyday comfort.
