Project description
The 155 m² Krinsky house is organised around a simple two-storey volume with light-coloured brick facing. Tall ground floor windows make the facade more open, while dark frames and cornices emphasise its proportions. The low covered area beside the house adds a horizontal line and connects the main building to the courtyard relaxation area.
The aerated concrete walls are faced with clay brick. Light-coloured masonry reveals shadows from cornices and window reveals, giving the facade depth even with restrained decoration. A reinforced concrete slab and cast-in-place floors form the basis of the structure. Together, these solutions maintain a cohesive masonry character despite the different wall and exterior finish materials.
The asphalt shingle roof creates a restrained dark surface above the light-coloured walls. The fine pattern of asphalt shingles suits the compact hipped roof, while a consistent roof colour unites the main volume and covered outdoor area. The roof completes the composition, leaving the focus on large windows and the rhythm of the brickwork.
The residential section has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a sauna and terrace providing additional ways to relax. For a house of this size, the accommodation is extensive: separate family rooms, a private sauna area and space for gathering outdoors. The terrace helps make the plot an extension of the home during warmer months.
