Project description
Rerberg is a 240 m² two-storey house combining contrasting light-coloured walls, grey vertical accents and timber. Tall windows and dark roof edging emphasise the geometry of the upper floor. Lower horizontal elements by the entrance connect the large residential volume to the courtyard.
Brick walls stand behind the visually light finishes. A reinforced concrete slab and cast-in-place floors complete the house's solid structural base. Facade panels and timber boards create a different surface scale: large smooth areas alternate with narrow timber patterns to highlight the building's main parts.
The flat roof complements the rectilinear composition. Its dark edge echoes the lines of the windows and canopy, while deep eaves give the facade extra depth. This approach works well with several materials: a shared upper line brings different colours and textures into one silhouette.
The house has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, including a study and a principal bedroom suite. The canopy complements the entrance, while the terrace extends the relaxation area. This arrangement suits a family that values private rooms and a separate workspace while retaining a direct connection between the shared living area and the plot.
